Which iPhones does SPAN work on?

Any iPhone with iOS 26. The AI features (sorting a brain dump, recaps) need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, like iPhone 15 Pro or later. On other iPhones SPAN still works, with simpler sorting.

Brain dump can’t hear me.

Open Settings › Apps › SPAN and turn on Microphone and Speech Recognition.

The timer isn’t on my Lock Screen.

Open Settings › Apps › SPAN and turn on Live Activities. The timer shows up the next time you start a session.

Can I add tasks without opening the app?

Say “Add a task in SPAN” to Siri. You can also add Brain dump to Control Center, or set your Action Button to it in Settings › Action Button › Shortcut › SPAN.

Where are my tasks stored?

Only on your iPhone. There’s no account and nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes your data.
